NEW SUCK MY FLICK VIDEO

SUCK MY FLICK ONCE AGAIN!

Sunday April 18th is the next Suck My Flick video screening. Bring yourself even if you have nothing to show. We need non bias votes to pick the winners.

This Month is at Curious Comedy. If you didn’t come last night than you missed how totally awesome the space is.  Curious Comedy has way more space, beer, and tables.

Please let your friends know that your Sunday evening is booked.  You’ll be attending Suck My Flick and with any luck “Drinking Responsibly.”

Dude Mountain Seeks Male Oral Sex, Politely We Decline

Well this really takes the brownie. The boys over at Dude Mountain have challenged our challenge with this video:

And to really put some punching on the cake, the titled their post this!

Well Dude Mountain, if you’re trying to request oral sex from us, your dicks obviously have no respect.

Assault on Dude Mountain Part 1

The gauntlet has been thrown!  The challenge has been issued!  The fighting has almost commenced!

Long time arch rivals Dude Mountain have gone too far!  The two time winners of Portlandfilm.org’s Suck My Flick have decided that since they didn’t show up to the last Suck My Flick, they were just going to steal our unicorn trophy and hold it as their own!

We can’t wait to hear what they have to say…

Ipon! Finally!

It’s here!  It’s finally finished!  Come one come all and see the most ridiculous eye candy yet to come from the Los Moustachios brain factory, Ipon!

Ipon!

Ipon! will be premiering at Suck My Flick this Tuesday, the 26th!  I would write a description of what Ipon! is, but I think that’s a impossible.  If Mario took Ecstasy and then Luigi tried committing fratricide throughout the Mushroom Kingdom…well I guess that would be Ipon!

So come out to the Alberta Street Pub at 8pm on Tuesday the 26th!

Special thanks to Carlos Severe for creating some of the most amazing cracked out music for some of the most cracked out visuals we’ve ever created.

BSM Desk Creation process

Noah and I made the side of one of the desks yesterday. At first we had a design that was more like a perfect L shape (Base width and Top width were the same). But the dimensions weren’t workin out, so we hiked up the base and thinned out the Top.

Here are the dimensions and the layout. We are going to add a couple supports, one in the Top, and probably 2 in the Base.

Today we made another side (flipped keystones so they are always on the outside) and we cut the connecting pieces between the sides. The surface area on the top will be 1′ x 3′2″ when we get this demo peice done. We need to talk about whether or not we want them to be collapsable. If they are not, it will be tough not to break them. I think for this first one, we’ll just nail it together to get an idea of what it looks like.

The wood is a 1″ molding and cost us $3 for 12 pieces. With all done now, we have used about 4 pieces.

Note that he is sitting on a stool. The height that they are right now is perfect for a stool, but comes up a bit high on a regular chair.

We’ll probably piece it together tomorrow before the feasts begin. Since we are putting the keystones and such on the outside, we will be able to put velcro on those as points of contact. This way, when we get into the new ship we will remove the other cardboard and slap on a new front.

Shots 1i through 3

Using the keylight tutorial, I made a quick draft of what Fighters of Fire will look like. Have to say, it’s pretty f’in sweet.
