The 48 Hour Film Project has come and gone this year in Portland, and has left in its wake a trail of empty coffee cups and burnt out editors. This year we teamed up with some wonderful and talented friends as the team “Jung Gunz Tu” for a very ambitious project: an animation in 48 Hours.
We completed the animation with thirty minutes to spare, barely cracking the four minute time requirement. But completing the an animation in forty eight hours nonetheless (a feat we’ve never seen accomplished in Portland). Currently we’re waiting to see if we made it into the “Best Of”, where only the top films are picked from each of the four brackets that competed.
In the mean time, we’ve been buffing up our entry, Final Boss to be a stand alone piece. Soon (as in this week) we’ll be posting the completed version in all it’s animated-spy-sexplosion glory.
So, don’t touch that web browser! For, like, four or five days. In fact, just hit refresh every three to four hours. You’ll see it eventually.
